The “how-not-to” of prayer:
1. Prayer out of an insincere attitude:
-to be noticed by others
-for public consumption
-for appearance sake (to appear pious)
2. Prayer with meaningless words:
-mindlessly repeating prescribed prayers
-repeating the same phrases over and over again
-believing the efficacy of prayer was in its length
